You can use the timeline at the bottom of the editor to fine tune your show's timing. When a scene is selected, the green knobs below the scenes can be clicked, allowing you to enter the exact start and stop time for that scene. Or you can set the duration for the scene by entering the number of seconds into the duration column.
For example, if you have a video clip that is 10 seconds long and you want your scene to be exactly that long, you'll select the scene in the timeline by placing the cursor over the scene and clicking. The selected scene will be highlighted in light blue and the green knobs will appear at the beginning and end of the selected scene. Click the knob and a popup will display showing the start/stop time and duration of the scene. Change the duration to 10 seconds and click Accept. The timeline will now reflect the scene's new duration.
You can also adjust the length of a scene by dragging the knob to the right or left. This method is not as precise as using the previous method, but has the same affect.
There are two buttons on the side of the timeline which allow you to Zoom In
and Zoom Out
the
timeline.
