Create A Show
Setting Your Show Properties
To create a show, click the Create a Show button, this will bring you to
the Swyzzle Editor.
The first thing you'll want to do is give your show a name. You'll do this by selecting
Properties from the File menu.
Enter your show title and select a category relevant to your show. Select a design area.
The remaining properties are optional and can be changed at any time.
Properties Explained
- Show Title
- The title of your show. Be sure to use a meaningful title so that it will be found when
visitors search the Swyzzle site.
- Design Area

This the size in pixels of the show player when the viewer watches it -- either on Swyzzle.com
or as an embedded show. The most commonly used
show size is Medium, this size will fit nicely into most blogs.
- Duration
- The duration is the length of the show in seconds which is determined by adding all the lengths
of the scenes together.
- Category
- The category is used on Swyzzle.com to help viewers narrow their search for shows on specific topics.
- Visibility
- Publish to the Web will make it possible for others to view your show. You would check this box if
you are ready to let others view it. Then, you can choose Embeddable Only, if you want to embed the show,
but don't want it to be listed on Swyzzle.com. If you choose Public on Swyzzle.com, it is available for
viewing on Swyzzle.com and you can also embed the show anywhere you want.
- Thumbnail Image
- With this property, you can snapshot any point in your show to make an image that represents the
show in Swyzzle.com. When you want to make a thumbnail, you play your show to the scene where you'd
like to snapshot, click to Show Properties, and then click Capture Thumbnail. You'll see a picture of
the scene in the thumbnail box below. Click submit when your done.
